Be great to have some Junior News from Cornish Clubs!
The Mounts Bay AS juniors enjoyed their annual trip on the lifeboat last Sunday and as there was such a good attendance two trips were necessary. We had 11 juniors and 11 adults so a total of 22. Last year the juniors raised £176.50 in the Newtown Angling Centre Sponsor Comp and junior Billy Williams presented the cheque to past MBAS junior, Penlee Lifeboat Cox Patrick “Patch” Harvey.
This year the money has gone towards the RNLI Penlee Life Boat Fund for the new building in Newlyn and the amount raised over the years by the juniors has now reached £2566.73. All had a fantastic time and I am sure will be looking forward to this year’s comp and next year’s trip.

Sunday November 4th 2012: Each year the Mounts Bay AS Juniors raise money for the RNLI and in return get a trip aboard the lifeboat. This year they handed over a cheque for £265 which brings the total raised over the last few years to over £2,400. Well done David Cains and the juniors.Photos below:
